We believe the people living with the greatest climate risk should also lead the solutions that shape our shared future.
We mobilise climate finance and channel it directly to frontline communities through permanent Community Climate Finance Hubs, empowering women, young people and marginalised communities to restore ecosystems, reduce emissions, strengthen resilience and build thriving green economies.
We work at the intersection of climate adaptation, mitigation, biodiversity conservation, community resilience, and climate finance. Our work aligns with the Paris Agreement, the Sustainable Development Goals, COP commitments, the African Union Climate Strategy, and the Locally Led Adaptation Principles.

We move climate finance the last mile; past the capitals, past the middlemen, and place it in the hands that lead change. Through Community Climate Finance Hubs, women, young people and frontline communities stop receiving projects and start governing institutions that deliver lasting climate action.

Our story
The climate crisis will not be solved unless finance reaches the frontline.
The world must cut more than 51 billion tonnes of emissions a year while helping billions adapt. Climate finance now tops USD 1.9 trillion a year, yet less than 10% reaches local communities, and under 0.2% is locally led. Africa emits under 4% of the global total but bears the harshest impacts, with over 250 million people facing rising climate risk.
The problem was never a shortage of money. It is a broken path to the frontline.
We believe climate action becomes transformational when communities stop being beneficiaries of projects and become owners of the institutions that sustain them. O'Motherlands mobilises climate finance and channels it directly into Community Climate Finance Hubs — permanent, community-owned institutions where women, young people and marginalised communities hold the majority of leadership and decision-making roles, deliver climate solutions and build lasting resilience. Together with governments, development partners, philanthropies and impact investors, we turn global climate ambition into measurable action where it matters most.
